Just one question: What exactly is a peptide?<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-ac37hb evys1bk0\">Chemically speaking, peptides are simply short chains of amino acids that play useful roles in our cells, like regulating hormones or reducing inflammation. Our bodies naturally create thousands of peptides; thousands more are made synthetically in labs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-ac37hb evys1bk0\">Endorphins are peptides; so are medications like <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/05\/20\/well\/live\/ozempic-weight-loss-drugs.html\" title>Ozempic<\/a>.
