Jackson<\/a> and <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/12\/26\/arts\/music\/charli-xcx-brat.html\" title>Charli XCX<\/a> all seem so self-assured and, well, cool?<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">A <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.apa.org\/pubs\/journals\/releases\/xge-xge0001799.pdf\" title rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">new study<\/a> suggests that there are six specific traits that these people tend to have in common: Cool people are largely perceived to be extroverted, hedonistic, powerful, adventurous, open and autonomous.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">The study, which was published on Monday in the Journal of Experimental Psychology: General, surveyed nearly 6,000 participants from 12 countries around the world.
