Citing the executive order, the Justice Department this month filed unusual lawsuits <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2025\/05\/01\/climate\/michigan-hawaii-climate-lawsuits.html\" title>against Hawaii and Michigan<\/a> seeking to prevent them from filing their own climate-change suits.
