Almost nothing is made in America, and an estimated 80 percent of <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2025\/05\/01\/technology\/apple-china-tariffs.html\" title>iPhones are still made in China<\/a>. <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"css-13o6u42 eoo0vm40\" id=\"link-1ace2673\">Could Apple make iPhones in the United States? <\/h2>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">Yes. Apple could make iPhones in the United States. But doing so would be expensive, difficult and force the company to more than double iPhone prices to $2,000 or more, said Wayne Lam, an analyst with TechInsights, a market research firm.
