Many of them were serious enough to require medical attention.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">The commission <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MyFWC\/status\/1904526058700886065\" title rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">has been urging people<\/a> to exercise caution in or near the water during alligator mating season, which runs from early April to June.
