But between the annual overhauls and the smaller periodic revisions, it can be hard to keep track of the changes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">If you haven\u2019t poked around, here are some tools from the past few updates that can help save you time.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"css-13o6u42 eoo0vm40\" id=\"link-4303a47e\">Take Control<\/h2>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">In last fall\u2019s <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.apple.com\/ios\/ios-18\/\" title rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">iOS 18 update<\/a>, Apple redesigned its <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-is\/guide\/iphone\/iph59095ec58\/18.0\/ios\/18.0\" title rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">iOS Control Center so it can be customized<\/a> in granular detail. Just open the Control Center, either by swiping down from the top right corner of the screen (if your phone uses <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-us\/108411\" title rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Face ID<\/a>) or by swiping up from the bottom (if you have a <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-us\/102528\" title rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Touch ID<\/a> model).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-testid=\"Dropzone-1\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"css-s99gbd StoryBodyCompanionColumn\" data-testid=\"companionColumn-1\">\n<div class=\"css-53u6y8\">\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">Next, tap the + button in the upper-left corner of the screen.
