They said that they had done things he claimed were impossible \u2014 hold a job, write a poem, play baseball, go on a date \u2014 and added that the lives of people who did need help performing daily activities were still worthy of respect.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">\u201cAutism doesn\u2019t destroy families. It\u2019s the ableism that does,\u201d said Tyla Grant, who was diagnosed with autism at 17.
