Mr. Trump sued, claiming Twitter and other tech firms that removed his accounts had wrongfully censored him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">Elon Musk, now X\u2019s owner and a close adviser to the president, <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/11\/19\/technology\/trump-twitter-musk.html\" title>reinstated Mr. Trump\u2019s account<\/a> shortly after acquiring the company in 2022.
