Being outdoors has been shown to improve <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/05\/23\/well\/live\/gardening-health-benefits.html?searchResultPosition=8\" title>your mood<\/a>, <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/12\/10\/well\/move\/bird-watching-health-benefits.html?searchResultPosition=16\" title>concentration<\/a> and <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/02\/05\/well\/mind\/outdoor-therapy-depression-anxiety.html\" title>mental health<\/a>, among other things. But indoor green spaces, even small ones, have benefits for our physical and mental well-being, too.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">Viewing nature indoors, one <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/articles\/PMC6926748\/\" title rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">review of the scientific literature<\/a> suggested, can lower your heart rate and blood pressure.
