Their story feels epic and expansive, but still intimate. It focuses on the small, everyday moments that make up a love story: washing dishes together after a dinner party, sharing biscuits, smelling fruit at a farmers\u2019 market. These are the moments that sustain them through Almut\u2019s excruciatingly difficult medical crisis.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">In this episode, Garfield reads the Modern Love essay <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2013\/12\/29\/fashion\/learning-to-measure-time-in-love-and-loss.html\" title>\u201cLearning to Measure Time in Love and Loss,\u201d by Chris Huntington.<\/a> His reading was unlike any other in the history of this show.
