And got the job.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">Now, after working there for a year and a half, Mr. Cain said he got the same feeling of accomplishment from assembling watch components as he did from completing an arm or leg of one of those robots.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">\u201cIt\u2019s pretty satisfying,\u201d he said during a break on one workday in June. \u201cIt boosts my confidence that there\u2019s stuff for me out there.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"css-s99gbd StoryBodyCompanionColumn\">\n<div class=\"css-53u6y8\">\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">Mr. Cain, 21, is the fourth person with autism to work at FTS, according to Kunal Naik, its chief executive, who founded the company in 2018. (The initials stand for Fine Timepiece Solutions.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">Not every person on the autism spectrum would make a good watch technician, Mr. Naik said.
